Open to everyone, no firearm needed: Stop the Bleed & Trauma Care and Awareness & Avoidance

What your first class is like

  1. 1

    Book and sign

Book online and sign your waiver and medical form on your phone. You get a reminder two days before with directions.

  2. 2

    Classroom first

Every class starts seated: introductions, the safety rules, the plan for the day, and where the trauma kit is.

  3. 3

    Slow, then steady

Nothing is rushed. You do each skill without live ammunition first, and never do anything you are not ready for.

  4. 4

    Leave with a plan

Your certificate and a practice plan land in your student account before you get home.

Common questions

I have never handled a firearm. Is that okay?

Most of my students start exactly there. New Owner: Safe Handling assumes nothing, and you never have to fire a shot you are not ready for.

Do I need to own a firearm?

No. Awareness, Stop the Bleed and Home & Family Safety need no firearm at all. For range classes, the host range can arrange a loaner — ask when you book.

What should I bring?

Eye and ear protection, a hat with a brim, water, and a good attitude. Every class page lists anything specific. Ammunition is bought at the host range.

Are classes safe?

Safety is the first and last thing we talk about. Small classes, a written range plan, a trauma kit on the line, and a safety briefing before every live-fire block.

Can my partner or teenager come?

Home & Family Safety and the Family Preparedness Weekend are built for households. Range classes are 18 and older.

Prefer one-on-one?
